Job description
Everstaff is seeking an Estimator for a thriving company in the Wood Dale area!
Work closely with members of the engineering and sales team to quote unique design solutions for the clients.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for price estimation of customer products
- Determine material and labor estimates
- Coordinate with Engineer Manager to provide design recommendation to best suit customer and company interests
- Solicit vendor/subcontractor quotes
- Compare estimated to post production actual costs to verify quoting accuracy
Required Skills:
- 5+ years experience in estimating
- Associate's Degree or higher in engineering/design/project management or equivalent Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Knowledge of multi-materials including wood, metal, plastics, glass etc.
- Extensive knowledge of costs for all phases of the manufacturing processes
- Good numeracy and computer skills, including MS Office and ERP software
- Ability to problem solve quickly and effectively
- Ability work under pressure of timelines and customer demands
